Foggo on egazette
House: Government notices to go online
The Bermuda Government will introduce an electronic gazette because publishing notices in the newspaper represents a bygone era, government reform minister Lovitta Foggo said.
Legislation was tabled on Friday so that an e-gazette can be installed on the Government’s online portal. Ms Foggo said the switch is expected to happen in the second half of 2018.
The Government will seek feedback before moving online, and some official notices will continue to be published in other media. A questionnaire seeking input is now online at the Government site.
