Firefighters tackle Sandys house fire

Firefighters tackled to a house fire in Sandys last night.

A Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the fire was restricted to a bedroom closet and there were no reported injuries.

But the house suffered severe smoke damage to the entire upper level.

The fire broke out around 11.30pm at a house on Tribe Road 6.

The fire service spokeswoman added the cause of the fire will be investigated.
